Success Clinic was a cracker!

An impressive fireworks display stole the show at the Volunteers’ Night at the Club on October 24, but earlier that day the fish were really going off during the Success Clinic.
In one of the better days in recent times, the nine fishers aboard Success enjoyed a few hours of hectic fun on either side of the Windmills.
With Martin Smith at the helm, Success drifted through productive grounds, both south and north of the Windmills.
Angling captain John Bech reported that species included some bulging sand whiting, king george to 44cm, skippy, herring to 30cm, tarwhine, goat fish, squid and flathead.
While all the species mentioned were met with open arms, a few unwanted guests – namely thee nor’west blowies and a ray – also came on board before they went back again.
