FSC Hosts: Emergency Interaction Day
Saturday 19th August from 9am
Community event all welcome
- Learn about the different types of extinguishers and the correct usage.
- Learn how to use an EPIRB as well as the correct radio usage in an emergency.
- Learn about the different types of flares and the correct usage.
- See how short 30 seconds really is an emergency.
Meet on the sunset deck from 8:30am breakfast rolls & drinks available from the kiosk. 9am start your safety journey.
9am – 12pm followed by a gold coin donation sausage sizzle all members and boating family and friends are welcome.
The electrical Tag & Test program has started.
Bring your leads to the EID for testing (a nominal $10 charge) All leads being used around the Club are to be tested and leads found to be in use without a tag will be disconnected and removed.
Please help keep our club safe for everyone and take advantage of the Tag & Test service that will be available on Saturday 19th August.
No charge event everyone welcome, follow the link to register.
Bacon & Egg roll with coffee/tea $10 available from the FSC kiosk.
Bring along your out-of-date flares and EPIRBS for safe disposal.
BWA (Boating Western Australia representing all boaters in WA) lifejacket sales and service information.
Things change overtime, learn updates on communication, safety gear and procedures and meet other boaters.
Support Sea Rescue with a donation Sausage Sizzle.
Test & Tag your boat power lead to ensure compliance.
Tour the Sea Rescue Boats.
EID is a day not to be missed by all FSC members, families, friends & Crew.
