Cruising Topic Night – Polar Adventure

Come and join us for an evening of Polar Adventure with Peter Bland and FSC member Darren Heath. Peter is the first Australian to have adventured to both the North and South Magnetic Poles. What makes Peter‘s achievement even more remarkable, is that he walked to the North Magnetic Pole hauling a sled 780km over the frozen sea, 12 months after undergoing his second bout of major heart surgery. Peter and Darren will share of their adventures to Antarctica together and also share the trip they have planned – taking 18 like minded adventures deep into the Arctic sailing on a tall ship in September 2023.
