Inshore Racing Season Round-up 2019-2020

Inshore Sailors and crew,

This report is intended as a brief wrap-up of the season with your Committee agreeing to close the season at our “Virtual” meeting held on Thursday, April 9th, 2020.
I would like to thank the Inshore Committee for their dedication and support throughout this time that has been difficult for us all to come to terms with. Fortunately, we had completed enough races to satisfy the minimum requirements to complete our season results.
We missed the final two Championship and three Consistency races and also the Max Shean Memorial and Anzac Cup Trophy events. Not forgetting the Lady Skippers race after which we usually celebrate the year’s sailing with our presentation dinner in the Wardroom.
I hope everyone is staying safe and well in what are extremely difficult times. While it is uncertain as to when we will be back on the water and the club is back to normal operations, please be assured that planning continues for the managing and running of future events.
Once it is safe to do so and we are given the all-clear, we will be out sailing once again.

Brian Cooper,
Inshore Captain
