Inshore Consistency Race 15/ Max Shean Trophy

This weekend’s consistency race is the Max Shean Trophy, Max was a Vice Commodore heavy involved in club activities and development in the 80’s..

In 1979 he celebrated the 150th anniversary of the settlement of Western Australia by sailing to Plymouth in his yacht Bluebell. He then competed in the open division of the Parmelia Yacht Race from Plymouth to Fremantle, via Capetown, winning the race.
