EOI - Keelboat Instructors Course
The Club is looking for keelboat sailors to join our team of instructors for our upcoming summer courses.
If you’re interested in becoming a qualified Keelboat Instructor, we are collecting expressions of interest for an Australian Sailing Keelboat Instructor course to be held at FSC in the first quarter of 2022. This course aims to teach potential instructors how to deliver the introductory courses of the Keelboat Program. Participants will learn and practice effective techniques for theory and practical instructing with continuous feedback and support. More information regarding the course content, can be found here.
The Club runs our learn to sail courses using a combination of SB20’s and our club keelboat ‘Airborn’ (Sparkman & Stephens 36). These courses run for 12 hours, typically across 3 consecutive Saturday mornings each month. The schedule for our upcoming Try Sailing for Adults courses is available here.
For more information please contact the Sailing Office here.
Gift Vouchers
The Club has gift vouchers available to purchase for each of our Try Sailing courses. To find out more about the courses, and to purchase your gift voucher, please visit our website.
Summer Season Training Fee
There are still some sailors that are yet to pay the Summer Season Training Fee. This fee is $280.00 and for all sailors participating in any training from October 2021 to April 2022. This equates to $40/month. It is imperative that this fee is paid prior to the commencement of Summer Season training.
We would like to acknowledge those who have already paid their fee and thank them for their cooperation
Our Dinghy Committee is made up of volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the Club’s Dinghy Section runs smoothly.
We have developed an Organisation Chart to ensure that our sailors and their parents are aware of who our committee members are, and what their roles entail.
